Meet Chris - Just Breathe Yoga Massapequa Co-Owner. With 23 years on the mat and a full decade woven into the heart of the JBY community, Chris brings depth, intention, and reverence to every class. Trained in Bikram (2008), Vinyasa (2013), and Inferno Hot Pilates (2023), his greatest passion lives in traditional practices like Bikram and Ashtanga—though he finds joy in all forms of movement. Chris loves to challenge the idea that yoga is just a workout. Yes, you’ll feel the heat—but more importantly, you’ll learn how to create balance within your body, cultivate awareness, and move with purpose. NamaStacey – Just Breathe Yoga Co-Owner/Instructor. Stacey has been practicing yoga for the past 25 years, joining the Just Breathe Yoga community in 2018. After seven years practicing at the studio, Stacey made the transition to join the JBY team at the start of 2024, Her return came after taking time to grow her corporate career and, most importantly, to raise her daughter. She is a diverse instructor, having completed her: - 200 hr YTT (2013) - Mat Pilates (2014) - 26&2 (2024) - Inferno Hot Pilates (2024) When asked what her favorite class to teach is, Stacey's response was "How do I pick just one?" Her favorite Asana? "Savasana" Most known for her - Sense of humor (iykyk) - Bronzed glow - Fresh lashes - Gwen Stefani songs It is so inspiring to see her growth from member to instructor to now co-owner. Stacey is the prime example of what happens when hard work pays off. Our silent assassin @katbrunoyoga . She is the grace of our community always helping everyone with their packages and practice. @katbrunoyoga has been teaching for over 15 years. She took her YTT in Tulum, Mexico with Sean and Karen Conley @amazingyoga and has dedicated her life to the practice ever since. Katherine is a power house vinyasa teacher and pilates. Every class is creatively sequenced and challenging. She brings it and holds the space for her students to find themselves. She eats a banana and half an avocado 🥑. Katherine love Dua Lipa, rap music, the office, and her dog Benny. She is always class mom and is volunteering. She a wife , mother of two beautiful sons, sister, daughter, friend and a pillar of our community at both studios. Always with a smile, always with kindness she takes care of all of us. We love and appreciate you and thank you for being an example to us.
