Hot Classes

 

Ashtanga 90 Degrees (75 min.) Athletic and powerful system of yoga designed to build strength, flexibility and stamina through the breath. The set series opens and detoxifies each part of the body, cleansing muscles and internal organs as well as improving circulation and overall health. This class is a perfect way to learn the fundamentals of Vinyasa as well as building a self-practice at home. Students are urged to memorize the series enabling them to move into meditation and to build a deeper, more personal, self-practice

 

Beginner Hot Yoga (75 min.)
Hot yoga is a series based on the traditional 26  hot yoga poses and breathing exercises, performed in a heated room of 105 degrees and 40% humidity. 

 

Bikram Hour (60 min.) 

Bikram Yoga is a hot system of yoga as exercise that Bikram Choudhury synthesized from traditional hatha yoga techniques. It became popular in the early 1970s. ... Bikram Yoga is a hot yoga style, and is ideally practiced in a room heated to 35–42 °C (95–108 °F) with a humidity of 40%.

Hot Express (60 min.)
Choreographed from the same postures as the 75 minute class, but moves at a quicker flow and has a lot less rest. As a result of the faster pace, there are increased cardio-vascular benefits, which help to create leaner muscle.

Hot Flow (75 min.) 
Classes move at a more energetic pace where students will learn to flow from one posture into the next in conjunction with the breath. Sun salutations along with a variety of postures and sequences, wraps/ binds, and inversions are taught.  


Power Hour (60 min.)

An energtic flow to get the cardio rate going and the muscles working. Each class is creative and open to all levels.

Wake and Bake Yoga (60 min.)
This fast paced hybrid of vinyasa and beginner hot yoga is open for all those who want to get a jump start to the day energized and peaceful.

 

Power and Yin (75 min.)

Intervals of power yoga complimented with intense longer held stretching. Perfect combination of the hot practice. Learn how to create more flexibility without sacrificing the more intense cardio/power sequencing. Shavasana will never be the same!

Non Heated Classes

AromaFlow (Non Heated) (75 min.)

Essential Oils and Mantras to “tune up” the chakras. Each week a different energy center or chakra will be highlighted, balanced and empowered. Like individual guitar strings, the centers need to be tuned to the appropriate frequency. This class is uplifting, energizing and relaxing all in one.

Yoga 4 Every 1 (75 min.)

This alighment and inquiry based open level class is well suited for all students seeking stability and awareness on their yoga mat. Sequences are intelligently created to include both sweat and submission, while building toward a peak pose or anatomical ideas. Students are assisted and propped with integrity as they explore their limits safely. Here, the needs of the modern bodies and minds are addressed while still honoring yoga traditions.

 

Yin & Restore (75 min.)The only way to find change is to change something... Balance out your powerful practices with Yin.This class consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body - the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine. These areas are especially rich in connective tissues. The poses are held for up to five minutes, sometimes longer. Take a double after the 4:30 or before the 8pm.

Yoga Para Todos (60 min.)Clase de 6 semanas

Este curso de yoga está diseñado para aquellos que son principiantes en esta practica. Desarrollaremos una base para la actividad física, mental y espiritual. Incluyendo la evaluación postural, técnicas básicas de alineación, contraindicaciones y errores comunes. Las clases de vinyasa sincronizan la respiracion y el movimiento para asi unir de forma fluida una postura de yoga con otra. Este, es un estilo dinamico y el objetivo es convertir el yoga en una meditacion de movimiento. 

 

Warm and Gentle Flow (75 min.)

Gentle yoga is about slowing down and opening the body through passive stretching. A very mellow, complement to more active practices and an excellent antidote to stress. ​

Pre Natal Yoga (75 min.)

Using gentle, targeted exercises that can be practiced during the first, second and third trimester, prenatal yoga classes generally focus on poses that strengthen and increase the flexibility of the muscles used during childbirth, while also increasing stamina.

 

Kids/Tween/Teen Yoga

Tween/Teen Mat Yoga  (75 min.) First Saturday of the Month 11:30am (60 min.)

Yoga helps tweens and teens build the groundwork to live a healthy lifestyle in a safe and non-competitive space. It is a perfect compliment to their busy school schedule, connecting them with others. Held at the same time as the 10am Beginner Hot so that parents and caregivers can take class too! (Ages 10-14)

Tween/Teen AntiGravity Yoga (60 min.)

Let their spirits fly.  AntiGravity® Fitness provides your tween/teen with an opportunity to swing, stretch, spin, balance, strengthen core muscles, and expand the imagination. He or she will discover a sense of independence while developing self confidence.  Furthermore, all participants have the opportunity to make new friends in a community inclusive class, leaving them happier, more balanced & empowered!

Prerequisite: Ages 8-14

 

Kids Yoga  Sundays 10am (75 min.)

Children derive enormous benefits from yoga. Physically, it enhances their flexibility, strength, coordination, and body awareness. In addition, their concentration and sense of calmness and relaxation improves. Doing yoga, children exercise, play, connect more deeply with the inner self, and develop an intimate relationship with the natural world that surrounds them. Yoga brings that marvelous inner light that all children have to the surface. (ages 6+)

 

Kids and Me Last Saturday of the Month 11:30am (60 min.)

A lively yoga class for you and your child (ages 3-9). Classes weave age-appropriate poses with imaginative yoga adventures, art, and music. Partner poses and yoga games encourage parents and kids to work together while limbering up our minds and bodies! (non-heated)

Todder and Me  First Saturday of the Month 9:30am (60 min.)

They may not be able to walk or talk, but they have no problem arching their bodies into the downward dog pose. 

Baby yoga can give you better rest, increased flexibility and a happy baby! Bond and promote development of motor skills. and become attuned to your babies wants and needs.

Baby and Me Last Sunday of the Month 11:30am (60 min.)

Baby yoga can give you better rest, increased flexibility and a happy baby! Bond and promote development of motor skills. and become attuned to your babies wants and needs.
Whether you're new to yoga or were a committed participant before you had your child, baby yoga is an excellent way to get you on a structured postnatal wellness path.

AntiGravity Yoga (Yoga in the Hammock)

AntiGravity I/II (60 min.)

AntiGravity® Yoga is a new kind of workout invented by aerial performer Christopher Harrison'a former gymnast and Broadway choreographer. It involves performing a series of exercises inspired by yoga, Pilates, calisthenics and aerial acrobatics in a hammock-like apparatus, in order to achieve a total-body workout. A combination of traditional yoga poses, pilates and dance with the use of a hammock, aerial yoga defies gravity and allows you to perform various yoga poses that may be difficult to do on the ground, but easier in mid-air. It’s fun and acrobatic, so for those of you who dreamed of being a trapeze artist as a kid, this can give you a taste of what it is like.

Level: Open Level (builds on poses from the most basic foundation, accommodating beginners while simultaneously providing deeper and challenging variations for advanced practitioners)

Flying Fitness (60 min.)

AG® Flying Fitness is an excellent class to experience an upbeat isometric cardio conditioning workout – all while suspended in the air and defying gravity!

 

Flip and fly through space as you get fit, increasing your flexibility, mobility, cardio and muscular capacity to a bumpin’ playlist. The AG® Harrison Hammock provides an opportunity to stretch, strengthen & break a sweat – connecting to muscles from your head to your toes that will give you the workout of your life in a fun, lighthearted and dynamic way!

Fitness Classes

 

Barre Fitness Express (45 min.)

Essentially, barre classes mix elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and functional training, and the moves are choreographed to motivating music. In each energizing and targeted workout, you’ll use the barre and exercise equipment such as mini-balls and small hand weights to sculpt, slim and stretch your entire body. 

PiYo (60 min.)

PiYo is a total-body fitness system designed to whip you into shape from head to toe. It combines the practices of Pilates and yoga to help you build strength, lose weight, increase flexibility and have a great time doing it. PiYo was created by Chalene Johnson, the founder of the Turbo Kick system.
