300 HR Yoga Teacher Training

Delve deeper into your own practice and enhance your skills as a yoga teacher with our advanced 300-hr Yoga Teacher Training (YTT).  This training is designed for students to go at their own pace to assist them in defining and developing their unique teaching style. The only prerequisite for this training is the completion of a 200-hr YTT with a  Yoga Alliance registered school or one that is approved by the Always-At-Aum Yoga School to be the equivalent.

Accessing your inner power with your breath is a useful tool when wanting to live your life to its fullest. Pranayama is the control and extension of the breath which awakens Prana (life force energy). Practicing the way you inhale and exhale can help you manipulate your vital energy to successfully activate or soothe your mood.Extensive practice of advanced breathing techniques, bandhas, mudras, and hybrid techniques.

  • How to integrate asana, pranayama, and meditation.

  • The deeper, subtler aspects of the chakras, and how to use their energies to enhance your spiritual practices.

The hot yoga teacher training with Always at Aum Yoga School and Just Breathe Yoga will give you the knowledge and skills necessary to become a hot yoga teacher and prepare you for creating strong and safe classes.

You’ll learn the 26 Poses (originated by Bikram), the mechanics of teaching a successful class and how to grow and strengthen your personal practice.

Yoga for Your Dosha

Yoga for Your Dosha

  • Breakdown each dosha, including associated seasons, weather, elements, food, and physical/mental traits.

  • Discuss yoga postures that balance each dosha, including what to use and avoid when constructing balancing sequences

  • Students will develop a sequence to balance their own dosha and practice teach their sequence to one another

  • Complete sequences for the remaining two doshas for homework

Kids Yoga Training

During the course of the training participants:

  • Learn fun and effective ways to teach yoga to children at home, in school, at a yoga or other type of studio

  • Develop more confidence in holding space while setting healthy boundaries to enable mindfulness and supportive learning

  • Engage in appropriate asana and lesson plans

  • Participate in role-playing or different ages

  • Become connected to a yoga community and be empowered to take the next step in your journey

The training is appropriate for anyone wanting to bring yoga to children:

  • Yoga Instructors (no prior kids training required)

  • Physical Education Instructors who want to incorporate yoga into their curriculum

  • Classroom Teachers who want yoga tools to relax, focus and/or energize children in the classroom

  • Parents to bring yoga into the home

  • Volunteers to bring yoga anywhere!!

The investment for the training is $450 but there's an early bird discount of $395 for participants who register by May 1st. Students enrolled on our 300hr YTT pay $250.

Upon completion of the training participants receive a certificate stating they have completed a KYTT and they are able to upload it onto their Yoga Alliance profile.

Yin Yoga Training

Existing somewhere between a restorative class and an asana class, yin yoga allows us to lengthen the body’s connective tissue and soothe the mind.  It provides a balance to our active asana practice, encouraging calm, flexibility, patience and dedication. 

In this workshop you will:

  •  Experience the unique stillness and relaxation created by yin yoga.

  •  Learn the effects of yin poses on the tendons, fascia and ligaments and joints.

  • Create new ways to incorporate yin poses into classes you teach and into your own practice.

  • Understand the connection of yin yoga to the chakras, its effects on the body and how it can support mediation and asana practice

Yoga nidra (Sanskrit: योग निद्रा) or yogic sleep) is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. It is a state in which the body is completely relaxed, and the practitioner becomes systematically and increasingly aware of the inner world by following a set of verbal instructions. This state of consciousness (yoga nidra) is different from meditation in which concentration on a single focus is required. The yogic goal of both paths, deep relaxation (yoga nidra) and meditation are the same, a state of meditative consciousness called samadhi.
